BIKE NIGHT ASIA BIKE OF THE WEEK: Honda RS150
This week's Bike Night Asia Bike of the Week: Jayson's Honda RS150
A marvel to behold and a beast to ride. Jayson Batacan's Honda RS150 has gone through several upgrades and modifications to achieve not only this look but how it performs as well. Taking the inspiration from the CB and CBR series, this bike is in a league of it's own but performs just as well as it's cousins.
Jayrich Motoparts is the shop behind this monster's awesome looks and its monster performance. Let's focus on how it looks first. The bike was painted pearl white for a clean look and a classy profile maintaining some of it's original decals to still pay homage to the original design. The bike has been treated 100% gold bolts to add sharp accents to the white and black body and to the Samco hoses present in the bike's engine. To protect the seat, Nhong seat cover has been placed to ensure longevity and an additional attraction to the bike.
Accessory wise, Jayson and the shop have placed and replaced parts to improve not only the riding experience oh the bike, but the over all performance as well. MVR1 bar-end side mirrors are used for a sleeker body silhouette and a more aerodynamic performance. Genma lever replaced the stocks to ensure a better grip on the levers and a more stylish look. Mini driving light and Domino switch has been added for a more comfortable night time ride and easy controls to the lighting systems.
What's a bike if it doesn't perform well on the road right? Well, Jayrich Motoparts didn't skimp on the performance department. To ensure the best performance, premium accessory brands has been used to ensure the riding experience with this bike. The most prominent would be the use of the brand RCB with most of it's parts. Starting off with the breaking system, the RS150 comes equipped with disc breaks on both front and rear wheels but this has been greatly improved with the use of RCB Break master and RCB disc rotors on both ends to guarantee the cleanest and safest stops coupled with RCB Calipers. The tires are from Pirelli Diablo Rosso on front and rear tires to ensure the best traction possible on the road.
To lighten the bike, the swing arm has also been replaced with RCB's Swing arm to improve weight and durability. To enable fluid gear shifting, the bike was also equipped with RCB's shifter systems. Improved cooling was done by installing MVR1 Radiator to improve temperature control and heat dissipation.
Going high speeds on this bike was made safer and more endearing by improving the stabilization with the help of Ohlin's steering damper. You can take this bike easily to higher speeds through the use of Uma Racing's Fast throttle, iridium sparkplug and Faito ignition coil, all this is paired with an eargasmic sound produced by an R3 pipe.
Truly, this bike was treated with the best care possible as well as the parts that did not only contributes to the looks, but the performance as well.
Wanted your bike to be treated with the same treatment? Give them a buzz and Jayrich Motoparts will be happy to assist you!
Thank you Jayson Batacan for sharing your awesome ride!
