BIKE NIGHT ASIA BIKE OF THE WEEK: Yamaha Aerox 155 S Show Piece
We have featured several Yamaha Aerox 155's on articles before but never an Aerox that is used exclusively as a show piece on events. Enter Jahan Visperas' Aerox 155 S, this Aerox have all the things that you could wish for in a bike plus more. Lets see what this bike is made of as we see this ride in a show in Marikina's Beast of the East.
Let's go firsts with the aesthetics, the whole bike is treated on a chameleon finish to give it the sheen it needs and a look that glimmers on sunlight and artificial light. The color as the name implies changes depending on the angle that the sunlight hits it. CNC milled gold bolts can be seen on the whole body of the bike as well.
Some pasts such as the tank cover and the front V cover is replaced with woven carbon for added durability and looks.
The team didn't skimp on the performance department as the bike performs the same as it looks. Several parts have been replaced not only for the looks but for the added power that these parts will give the bike.
The pipe was from King Drag, not only that this pipe looks good, but is sounds good as well. As they say "Loud pipes save lives."
Receiving the bumps in the road are shocks from JVT for the front and RCB for the rear, while the shoes used are from Xtero Mags from Malaysia.
Braking is carried out by Brembo as well using the brake system from their Break Master line and the calipers installed up front.
Though the bike nowadays is only used on shows, the upgrades that they have given this bike still screams performance. It wasn't just a bike for show, but a bike meant to be ridden as well.
Thank you, Jahan Visperas for letting us show your bike off!
