BIKE NIGHT ASIA BIKE OF THE WEEK: Yamaha sr400 Custom
It wasn't common to see an awesome custom bike in the wild anymore. The effort, cost, and time the builders spend on making one just aren't worth the drive anymore, so builders and riders just tend to keep their custom bikes inside showrooms or garages to maintain the pristine condition of their piece. But BK Francisco of Iskramboys is just plain different; he rides his custom bike on a regular basis. Meet his custom Yamaha sr400.

The first thing that came to our minds when we saw BK's bike was just the fascination and the urge to ask him the details about his bike. The care and effort poured into this master piece are something to be marveled at.

Asking BK about his bike was a short and quite funny topic. The first thing that he told us about his bike was, "I got most of those parts from an Online Store," an answer we didn't expect and believed at first. Just look at the glorious presentation of the bike. Would you believe it?

The bike was a Yamaha sr400 and was modified based on Warbikes from the 30's and 40's. He added a few comfort modifications to fit the current Metro Manila road conditions. The warbikes in the 30's and 40's were hardtails, and he did a monoshock modification on his bike to make sure that hard bumps and cracks were well taken care of.

The lights are modernized and minimalist to keep attention focused on the bike and not the added accessories, of which he said most are from an Online Store.

Check out these photos for some of the bike's details.
