BNA ON THE DETAIL: The All-New Honda Click 160
Honda Motorcycle Philippines recently unveiled the All-New Click 160. The Click 150 and 125 models from a few years ago have been popular with both novice riders and seasoned riders who merely wanted a casual bike to cruise around the city. The bike is so endearing that you'd see one nearly at every turn and corner you took at the time it was selling like hotcakes.

From the technology is it packing and the looks, who wouldn't like one? We did!

Now comes the new kid in town, the all new Click 160. Don't get us wrong, there's nothing wrong with the Click 150 but the new upgrades? Heck yeah they're welcome! What has changed with Honda's newest 160 model, then?

The body of the Click 160 has been updated with more sharp edges and a sportier appearance. The iconic V-shaped headlight is still noticeable, but it now has a second plastic piece to distinguish it from the first, giving it a bit more strength up front.

By removing the decals and sticking with three straightforward color schemes - Matte Pearl Crater White, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Matte Solar Red Metallic - Honda has given the all-new Click a cleaner appearance.

The test ride was awesome! The bike feels really familiar with it being an easy to ride bike, the power is just great! As they say, hindi ka mabibitin with the power and the fuel efficiency. With a 157cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected gasoline engine that can produce 13.8Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm and 15 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. The safety equipment, particularly the braking system, is top-notch and something you'd definitely need in actual driving situations. Although the braking is excellent, keep in mind that the bike lacks ABS.

The All-New Honda Click 160 comes with a pricetag of P116,900, a few thousand pesos shy of its AirBlade sibling and PCX.

Overall, the experience with the Click 160 is just something that everyone should try specially on HSDC's facilities. Complete, clean and the instructors are LTO accredited so everything is just covered when testing any of Honda's bikes out.
