Highway Patrol Group - Provincial Advisory Group Rizal’s Breakfast Ride
JANUARY 18, 2025 | The Highway Patrol Group - Provincial Advisory Group (HPG-PAG) Rizal recently went on a breakfast ride to Balconahe in Baras, Rizal, with the aim to strengthen their commitment to road safety and community engagement. The ride, which combined leisure with purpose, showed the group's dedication to responsible riding and strategic planning.
Participants met for a hot cup of coffee and some early morning conversation at Kape Una in Antipolo, Rizal, before the ride started. Kape Una's cosy atmosphere made it the ideal spot for members to catch up before making the quick trip to Baras. Even though it was raining a little, the group continued to ride without showing any symptoms of giving up.
Once everyone arrived, the group began their ride to Balconahe, a well-known spot for riders seeking a relaxing place and being one with nature. Upon reaching the destination, HPG-PAG Rizal held a structured discussion where they outlined future plans, made key announcements, and introduced new applicants to the group. This session served as an opportunity for members to align their goals and reinforce their shared commitment to road safety.
As a treat for their early morning ride, attendees enjoyed a hearty brunch after the meeting. Members' relationships were strengthened by the amusing chats and moments of camaraderie that preceded the meal.
After breakfast, the group took a proactive step toward promoting road safety by visiting some of Marilaque’s controversial spots, including the iconic Palo Alto turn and Devil’s Corner. These areas are notorious for reckless riding behaviors, often resulting in accidents. By observing the conditions and rider behavior at these locations, the group reaffirmed its mission of advocating for responsible riding and adherence to road regulations.
The ride ended with a lunch stop and a quick ride to Crosswinds Tanay, a scenic destination where members once again shared stories, reminisced about past rides, and enjoyed each other’s company. The day’s activities not only reinforced their commitment to safety but also emphasized the importance of camaraderie within the riding community.
The Highway Patrol Group - Provincial Advisory Group Rizal’s breakfast ride was more than just a leisurely activity—it was a testament to their unwavering dedication to road safety, rider discipline, and community engagement. Through such initiatives, the group continues to set an example for responsible motorcycling while fostering strong relationships among its members.
