Makina Moto Show 2022 Day 1

Makina Moto Show 2022 Day 1

July 29, 2022 - The first day of Makina Moto Show kicked off. After the break during the pandemic, this is the first time that Makina has hosted an indoor event to showcase the Filipino Riding Community. We were there last October 2019 at the Moto Tiangge and we had so much fun. Riders and enthusiasts alike enjoyed the event and left with nothing but smiles, thanks to the booth showcases, product launches, and promotions.

This year, the event is held at the Mall of Asia's SMX Convention Center in Pasay. Four halls will be open for 3 days to unify the motorcycle industry. Several brands and manufacturers will be present, and there is something for the attendees. Ducati, MV Agusta, Yamaha, Honda and Kymco are some of the motorcycle manufacturers who will be showcasing their existing and new bikes over the span of 3 days. KYT, YSS, Motul, HJC, Gille, and Imprint Customs will also be there among other brands to show their line-up of products and give out discounts, so do make sure to check them out. Wheeltek, Bikerbox, Motology, Motoworld, Defy Customs, and One Garage are also present with the other shops to bring out their best and give the best time for the riders as they visit their booth.

Here's what happened on the first day of the Makina Moto Show 2022.

Yamaha has unveiled its 2022 version of the XSR900. A Legend from Yamaha was reborn on the XSR Line up, and the new XSR900 never disappoints. "With timeless design inspired by Yamaha's legendary racing heritage and the sheer power of its renowned CP3 powerplant, the all new XSR900 is the rebirth of a legend." This bike truly screams classic with a modern feel. Check their booth out and see the Yamaha XSR900 2022 in the flesh.

Ducati also lifted the curtains on the newest addition to the family, the DesertX. A bike designed to be taken off the road and lost while you discover yourself. The bike boasts the first features of a modern Ducati bike: a 21" front wheel and an 18" rear, long stroke suspension, and a new frame designed specifically for the off-road experience. Visit their booth for their bikes and the all new Ducati DesertX.

CF Moto is also among those manufacturers who have launched a new bike. This time, it is for the sport-oriented speed junkies- the CF Moto 450sr. A golden displacement for entry and advanced riders with a higher demand for performance. With 450cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with a max power of 37kw@9500rpm. The 450SR is now redefining the CFMOTO 400cc model. Marvel over their new bike at their booth.

The King has been unveiled at the TVS booth this afternoon as we see the curtains being lifted for their 3-Wheeled segment. The Tri-wheeled King offers one of the best when it comes to back support for passengers for a comfortable ride. Check this ride out at their booth.

Kymco has just gone outdoors and off-road with their newest maxi-scoot. The all-new DT X360. This cross-over machine deviates from the stereotype of scooters as daily-driven, city-limited mobility machines incapable of handling the wild. It is Kymco's answer to the "urban riders' unfulfilled quest to occasionally get out of their comfort zones and expand their horizons in all directions." Come and see Kymco's new ride at their booth.

Honda also surprised the crowd by unveiling two new models for their growing family. The Wave RSX and the Click 160. With rising petroleum prices, one of the best features of the new Wave RSX is its sporty dynamic design, powerful performance, and improved fuel efficiency. The all-new Click 160 has also been showcased. Boasting a Bolder, Greater and Prouder aesthetics, performance and advanced technology. The Click 160 has a powerful new generation 157cc, 4-valve, eSP+ engine, a new Smart Architecture Frame, a new wheel design, and a new USB charger socket in the compartment. Check these fresh motorcycles out at their booth.

Avenis is the new kid on the block of the Suzuki family. Turn heads with its muscular yet sporty body and aerodynamic design paired with a 125cc fuel injected engine. "The Avenis is the perfect companion for the modern, adventurous rider who's driven to do more!". The Smart Sport Tourer from Suzuki was also released today, the GSX-S1000GT. This awesome tourer combines the championship DNA of its GSX-R1000-based engine with a light weight chassis to give the riders an exciting and comfortable GT experience. Check these bikes out at their booth.

There is still so much to do and so much to discover at the Makina Moto Show 2022, so don't miss the chance to visit the SMX Convention Center this weekend for the continuation of this much awaited event.
