Paving the Way: The HPG - PAG Rizal's Collaboration for Safer Roads

For millions of Filipinos, the daily commute has become more than just a routine; it's a relentless test of patience. The constant gridlock, the frustrating lack of road discipline and the ever-present risk of accidents have turned our streets into a daily challenge. But in Rizal province, a collaboration is working to change that narrative. The Highway Patrol Group (HPG) - Provincial Advisory Group (PAG) of Rizal, a dedicated collaboration of community leaders and concerned citizens to transform chaotic roads into a safer, more orderly experience for everyone.

Last September 4, 2025, the group held its regular monthly meeting at Imprint Customs in Antipolo City. The gathering served as a important planning session to address the province's most pressing traffic challenges. Discussions focused on tangible projects aimed at improving traffic flow in notorious bottlenecks, launching new road safety awareness campaigns for the public and identifying specific high-risk zones that require immediate intervention. This continuous dialogue and planning is what keeps the group's initiatives relevant and effective, ensuring they are always one step ahead in creating a safer environment for Rizal's commuters.

The monthly meeting was well-attended by a mix of new members, applicants and seasoned members, showcasing the group's growing influence. The session was co-led by Mr. Warren Domantay, the Chairman of PAG Rizal and PMAJ Adonis C. Andrade Jr., the Provincial Officer of PHPT Rizal, a clear demonstration of the strong collaboration between the civilian and law enforcement sectors.

The HPG - PAG Rizal represents a powerful synergy between two vital groups. It is the fusion of the HPG’s authoritative law enforcement capabilities with the community-driven insights of the PAG. This unique collaboration operates with a singular mission: to forge a safer highway system for every motorist.
