BIKE NIGHT ASIA BIKE OF THE WEEK: Yamaha Aerox 155 v1

This isn't the  1st time that we have featured Yamaha's Sporty Scooter. As it was popular among the Filipino riders  with it's sporty looks and phenomenal performance, not to mention it's high customization characteristics, Yamaha Aerox really  lives up to  the hype.

We wouldn't be geeking out on this story anymore as we've done that on the last one already, that would've been boring right? We'll be highlighting the things that the owner have customized and added instead. 

Paint job has been one of the usual things that riders tends to customize from their bikes, on this case though, he changed only a portion of the scoot's fairings. From originally a Navy Blue and Orange color, re removed the huge orange side fairings with Glossy Black to give it a more sleek and tamed look.

The owner didn't skip on the performance department as well, he have change some of the parts of the bike to maximize or improve the Sporty Scooter performs on the road.

From Yamaha's stock shocks, the shocks has been replaced with YSS' G-Series Shocks to improve the scoot's riding feel, shock absorption and play.

The pipe have been replaced as well with a pipe that produces a more masculine and bassy reverb making it not only a head turner because of it's looks but it's sound as well.

To handle the heat dissipation better, the radiator has been replaced with JRP radiator to keep the scooter's temperature under control.

The shoes, who wouldn't have replaced their scoot's shoes right? Maxxis' Victra was used on the scooter's tire which is recommended for both city ride as well as occasional track days. The mags was of RCB's 6 Spoke Mags making the bike a lot more lighter as well as a look that is definitely a sight to behold.

Truly, Yamaha's Aerox is worthy of the noise that is has been making since its release but after what has been done to this bike, who can say otherwise?
