Serbisyong Makatao Handog ng HPG sa Inyo: An initiative on Road Safety Awareness, Basic riding and Road crash accident reduction Campaign

The PNP-Rizal Provincial Highway Patrol Unit, together with the HPG-Provincial Advisory Group Rizal, recently conducted a Road Safety Awareness Seminar. This initiative focused on promoting road safety awareness, basic riding safety, and reducing road crash accidents. The event was held last Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Ynares Event Center in Antipolo City.

More than a hundred riders representing various motorcycle clubs attended the activity to gain valuable insights from experts who generously shared their knowledge on road safety and riding skills.

The participants were welcomed by Police Colonel Rommel Estolano, Regional Director of the Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A (CALABARZON). Representing City Mayor Casimiro Ynares III, Antipolo City Administrator Atty. Henry Rosantina expressed gratitude to the organizers and commended their efforts to ensure road safety for motorists.

Police Colonel Felipe Maraggun, Provincial Director of Rizal, emphasized the importance of responsible and safe riding and driving, particularly as Rizal is home to many tourist destinations near Metro Manila. He highlighted the role of road safety in saving lives.

The event featured several expert lecturers. Coach Joey Rivero of Zero2Podium Riding School discussed technical skills and scientific riding. Coach Ariel, an instructor from LTO Antipolo, and PSMS Christopher Jaway of PNP HPG also shared their expertise, particularly on transportation laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the riding community.

Participants actively engaged in discussions by asking questions and sharing their passion and experiences from daily rides, including navigating popular routes like the Marilaque Highway.

The program concluded with the awarding of certificates to the resource speakers by PMAJ Adonis Andrade, Chief of PNP HPG Police Community Relations, and PCPT Neil Payos of Rizal HPU. The event ended with a group photo featuring all participants.

Imprint Customs supported the event, and Bike Night Asia is an official media partner.
