Last August 26, 2023, the quaint city of Lipa in Batangas became the epicenter of an exciting and memorable event that united motorcycle enthusiasts from the different parts of Central and Southern Luzon. The Shell Advance Nationwide Tambike event, held at the Mini Garahe Cafe, an elegant cafe which also features sumptuous meals and drinks while people get their vehicles fixed or detailed as it is also an automotive and motorcycle detailing and maintenance facility, turned this quaint corner of Batangas into a roaring hub of excitement. The day was marked by a display of motorbikes, camaraderie, and the unmistakable passion of riders who live for the open road.



An initiative spearheaded by Shell Advance, in partnership with Bike Night Asia. This event aimed to reach out motorcycle groups all over the Philippines to establish the beneficial effects of Shell Advance Motorcycle Oils that could be an advantage for all sorts of motorcycle riders, Shell Advance AX7 for daily riders who uses their motorbikes as their workhorse, Shell Advance Long Ride for weekend riders which uses their powerful machines for recreation and enjoy long rides, and Shell Advance Ultra for riders who enjoy high-revs and adrenaline rushes for competition and races but ultimately, hear the stories of every riders, their bikes, adventures, challenges and the places they've been.



Located in the heart of Lipa, Batangas, Mini Garahe Cafe, owned by Ms. Bernice Hernandez and Mr. Mac Hernandez, provided the perfect backdrop for this exciting motorcycle event. The cafe's rustic charm and cozy ambiance complemented the gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts, creating an atmosphere of shared passion and adventure.





The event drew riders from the different parts of central and southern Luzon, each eager to showcase their solidarity, share experiences, and celebrate the spirit of two-wheel camaraderie. From young, thrill-seeking riders to seasoned veterans, the event saw a diverse mix of participants, each with their unique story and love for motorcycles. Members from the Vespa Club of Lipa showcased their well-designed Vespa Motorcycles which showed sophistication. Present also were members of the ADV Juan Siksty Nation, comprising of participants from Manila, Taguig, and Valenzuela City to show their unwavering support to the event. 


Bikes from MotoMorini, an Italian heritage motorcycle brand, also showcased some of their intimidating yet elegant engine roaring big bikes such as the Seiemmezzo SCR, Seiemmezzo STR and the X-Cape 650 in this event. Several participants gathered in awe as they observed and tried upon the middle weight motorcycles.



To start off, the event was hosted by two of the most enthusiastic and energetic people from the motorcycling community, MotoMoy, a well-respected motovlogger in the Yamaha Aerox Community, and Mr. Jeff Dela Cruz, the COO of Bike Night Asia. All throughout the night, they maintained the energetic atmosphere which garnered the attention and participation of the crowd. The Shell Advance Brand Manager, Ms. Chi Malabanan, was also present in the said event to exhibit the goals and advantages of Shell Advance and to offer their products at a much discounted price. Participants who purchased Shell Advance lubricants were entitled for a free meal courtesy of the Mini Garahe Cafe and a chance to win several prizes from Shell Advance Lubricants, Bike Night Asia merchandise and Riding Jerseys courtesy of Imprint Customs, and HJC Helmets in the generosity of Gear Hub's owner, Mr. Jaypee Lanuza and JT Triumph's owner, Mr. Jayson Te.



During this event as well, several groups presented their presentations of their joys in motorcycle riding entitled "Ride ng Buhay Mo". The Vespa Club of Lipa, National Honda Click Alliance and ADV Juan Siksty Nation shared their moments of joys and camaraderie of motorcycle riding through videos which were presented through the event. All participants gathered as they connected with the various experiences shared by the motorcycle groups.



The ADV Juan Siksty Nation was selected to win the Club of the Night in the said event and won the grandest prize of motorcycle maintenance kits care of Shell Advance and was presented the certificate by Ms. Chi Malabanan and Mr. Jeff Dela Cruz.



Guests were delighted with a range of entertainment choices, including delectable and appetizing cuisine and beverages provided by Mini Garahe Cafe. A Shell Advance booth was also present, exhibiting a diverse selection of motorcycle oils suitable for various types of motorcycles. The crowd was also entertained by the energetic live performance of the Divided By Zero Band, and there were multiple exciting raffle draws to added to the excitement. These activities underscored Shell Advance's commitment to capturing the attention and fostering the appreciation of Filipino motorcyclists through such events.



Beyond the crowd, activities, displays, and merchandise, what truly made the Shell Advance Nationwide Tambike event special was the sense of unity and camaraderie among the participants. Motorcycle enthusiasts from different walks of life connected over their shared passion for riding, forging new friendships and strengthening the bonds of an already tight-knit community.



The Shell Advance Nationwide Tambike event held at Mini Garahe Cafe in Lipa, Batangas was more than just a gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts; it was a celebration of the freedom of the open road, and a testament to the enduring camaraderie among riders. As the engines roared and the crowds cheered, it was a day that captured the essence of the Filipino motorcycle culture and left everyone eagerly anticipating the next event.
